Supporters of Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, has presented him the expression of interest and nomination form for the 2023 general election .
In a press statement by his special assistant, Media & Publicity, Mallam Abdulgafar Adeleye, he said party faithful presented the nomination form to the speaker to represent the constituency once again.
According to him, the coordinator of the group, Kola Ishola, stated that the speaker having represented the constituency with honour and dignity, with clear results in terms of facilitation of dividends of democracy to the constituency, deserved another term of meritorious service to the people.
He said, “Party faithful in the five wards of Ifo one State constituency today presented the nomination and expression of interest forms they purchased for the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo ahead of the primary election of the APC for his re-election into the State Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
“Presenting the forms on behalf of the party loyalists today at his residence in Ifo, the group Coordinator in Ifo, Ogbeni Kola Ishola, on behalf of others explained that the Speaker, having represented the constituency with honour and dignity, with clear results in terms of facilitation of dividends of democracy to the constituency, deserved another term of meritorious service to the people.”
“As his loyalists and party faithful in the five wards in the Local Government, the purchase of the form for him was meant to solidarize with him to return to the State Assembly in 2023 to continue his good works,” Adeleye said.
