Rededicate Yourself To Duty, Customs Boss Tells Marine Officers

The Customs Area Controller, Western Marine Command, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Compt. A. A Umar has charged officers of the command to rededicate themselves to service.
He disclosed this on Monday when he assumed the mantle of leadership of the Western Marine Command of the service.
According to a press statement by the command’s public relations officers, Isah Sulaiman, Compt. Umar,  charged officers at the command to rededicate themselves to their statutory responsibilities.
He also charged them to be disciplined and work according to the codes, procedures, departmental instructions and laws as enshrine in the Customs and Excise Management Act Cap C45 2004 as amended.
Speaking earlier, the outgoing Ag. CAC welcomed and congratulated the substantive Area Controller for his posting.
He appreciated the Officers/Men for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout his tenure and urged them to accord maximum support and cooperation to the new Area Controller.
