The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has vowed to look into challenges impeding smooth operation of agencies under his ministry.
BUSINESSINSIDERNG reports that the Minister of the newly created ministry had received briefing from the director general of the Nigerian Marítime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Bashir Jamoh; executive secretary, Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Hon. Emmanuel Jime; managing director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko and the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), George Moghalu.

However, in a statement on the official Facebook page of the ministry, the Minister after listening to their submissions, however, promised to resolve issues impeding smooth operations with relevant agencies of the government.

He also reiterated the need for effective collaboration among agencies within the Ministry so as to realise the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for the sector.
