The General Manager, Area Offices Coordination, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Engr Rammy Fiberesima, has announced the passing of his wife, Amiebara Amapakabo Fiberesima.
Mrs Fiberesima died On Wednesday, January 22, 2025 after returning from work.
According to Engr. Fiberesima, the death of his heartrob was sudden and still a shock to everyone including her family members and colleagues at work.
Fiberesima who is the former General Manager, Ports Services of NIWA, said his wife would be remembered through her legacies, many lives she has touched, values of hard work and service to God and humanity.
“Mrs Amiebara Amapakabo Fiberesima , was born on 22 September in Bolo, Ogu/Bolo local govemment area in Rivers State, Nigeria. She was an incredible daughter bom to Mr John lyene Amapakabo and Mrs Margaret Amapakabo.
Education Career
In her early life, Amie attended Municipal Council School, Ikot Ekpene Street, Mike I, Diobu, Port Harcourt. She proceeded to attend Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School in Elelenwo where she obtained her WAEC and gained admission into the University of Port Harcourt earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
She further obtained a masters degree in General Management 3 years ago from Ajuru University Of Education.
She embarked on a distinguished career in teaching in Sunrise Primary and Secondary School Borikiri, Greenfigs international School GRA, Universal Basic Education Okumgba and Igatius Ajuru University Of Education as an Assistant Registrar where she confributed significantly.
Personal Life
Late Amie was a devoted family woman. she married her dearest Tammy Fiberesima, they were blessed with a son. She was a lover of everyone she came in contact with, free spirited and loved her family dearly. She took,care ofher sick mother, to Ibadan for treatment, Aunty Amie really took care ofMa (her Mother).
She was also a devote member of Salvation ministries until the time ofher death
Death and Legacy
On January 22, 2025 Amie suddenly passed away hours after going to work, wherever she went to her church program (Glory Reign). Her death came as a shock and a great loss to her family, friends and everyone who her.
Her legacy lives on through many lives she has touched, her values of hard work and service to God and humanity. May her soul rest in peace,”
