FG Apologies To US, China Over Flag Controversy At NBTE

The federal government condemned the alleged attack on a property belonging to the National Board of Technical Education  (NBTE), by some hoodlums in Abuja.
The NBTE’s property located at Plot 445, Maitama, Abuja was attacked and the foreign flags becoming to the United States of America, China and Nigeria hoisted in within the property were pulled down by hoodlums allegedly sponsored by some Nigerians.
Speaking on the incident, the Minister of Education, Hon. Adamu Adamu, said apologised on behalf of Nigerian’s government to countries whose flags were pulled down.
He said the flags represent the symbol of love and a robust relationship between one country and  another.
According to him, “The Nigerian, ,American and Chinese flags pulled down by some thugs at the NBTE property, plot 445, Maitama , Abuja,  is a prerequisite to discouragement to investors  that are  willing to do business  in Nigeria and the Nigerian government  is not in support of this lawlessness. The Federal  governmen will continue to support and protect the sovereignty of all countries in Nigeria.
