Encomiums As Customs Decorates Attah, Oloyede Assistant Controller

Encomiums have poured in over the decoration of the former Public Relations Officer (PRO), Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) as Assistant Controller of Customs.

Also decorated as Assistant Controller is the former PRO, Idiroko command of the service, Bukoye Oloyede.
The two officers were on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, decorated as Assistant Controllers from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs.
According to Theophilus Oyekanmi, he applauded Attah’s promotion, saying it was well deserved.
“That you are among the 2024/2025 CSCs promoted to Assistant Comptroller of Customs this September, is gladdening.
And as you would be decorated soonest today, I joined in celebrating with you, Attah Jerry, my correct person!
Congratulations and more promotions ahead to you, others in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
Udeme Clement also corroborated Oyekanmi, saying Attah’s promotion was well deserved.
“AC Jerry Attah is a jolly good fellow. A very pleasant person. Always looking cheerful.
May Jehovah God lift him higher and higher.”
According to Shulamite Olowofoyeku, “Congratulations, Jerry, on your promotion. It is well deserved. Wish you all the best in your future endeavours,” he stated.
It could be recalled that the National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Abdullahi Maiwada, in a statement recently, said that the service board during its 63rd regular meeting held on September 2, chaired by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, approved the promotion of 3,312 senior officers across various ranks from Comptroller of Customs (CC) to Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC 11).
