Construction Begins Fully On Sango- Idiroko Expressway

At Last, residents and commuters of Oju-ore, OTA, Ogun state can now ease a sigh of relief as contractors have moved to site to begin construction of flyover bridges and expansion of the Sango-Oju-ore- Winners- Atan expressway, Ota, Ogun State.
Though, buildings that encroached the roads have been pulled down in the past few weeks, construction works started fully today at the Oju-ore end of the section.
Construction is currently ongoing at the Winners end of the section as the government intend to ease traffic on the corridor.
However, commuters have applauded the government for the construction saying it will reduce travel time, boost crops border trade between Nigeria and Benin Republic.
They also called on the federal government to expedite action on the construction work even as they requested for the construction of another bridge at the Iju River.
BUSINESSINSIDERNG gathered that flyovers when completed, will ease the traffic bottlenecks around the area.
Also, operatives of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE and other stakeholders in the transport sector in the area are working together to control the vehicular traffic in the area.
