Without the Endorsement of the founder, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr Boniface Aniebonam, NAGAFF outcast and former president of the Association, Increase Uche, has been returned to the governing council seat of the Council for Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN).
Recall that Aniebonam, had declared Uche personal non grata for daring to recontest the seat against the wish and decision of his erstwhile godfather, Aniebonam.
He was also unceremoniously removed as the president of the association and replaced immediately.
However, in a result exclusively obtained by BUSINESSinsiderng, Increase Uche recorded a landslide victory against Aniebonam’s anointed candidate, Ekweozor Austin.
While 123 votes were cast for the Eastern Airports and land border, Uche had 121 while Ekweozor pulled a paltry 2 votes.
Also, the financial secretary, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Hajia Bola Muse, pulled 90 votes in the same election that is ongoing in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt.
Though, the election is still ongoing in Port Harcourt, but, the Abuja result obtained by our correspondent had shown that Muse may still be in the as the first five persons will be elected into the governing council.
