Approach The Court To Assert Your  Right-NBTE Tells Firm

National Board for Technical Education( NBTE) has advised a Nigeria firm, DB Mangal to  go to court  instead of making misleading publications over a disputed at  Plot 445,Maitama,Abuja, Federal Capital.
The festering crisis came on the heels of an advertorial published in a national newspaper on the 17th November, 2021, by one Shehu Wada and Co, acting for and on behalf of  a Nigerian company, DB Mangal Nigeria Limited concerning the recovery of the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, property located on Plot 445,Maitama,Abuja, Federal Capital,
NBTE has described the  advertorial as ‘misleading’ the Nigerian public..
These were contained in a press statement by the Executive Secretary,National Board for Technical Education, Professor I.M. Bugaje, who said the firm, DB Mangal, ought to have approached the court of law  rather than resorting to illegal activities to achieve it’s aim.
NBTE,has said that “When they ( DB Mangal Nig Ltd),failed to intimate the public was the subsisting judgment ofthe Abuja High Court in 2017 that returned the confisticated land back to the NBTE, including the structures built by DB Mangal Nig Ltd”.
The statement said that “As recent as June 2019, the Special Presidential Investigation  Panel reaffirmed the High Court order; and in a ceremony,handed over the building to NBTE
The Federal parastatal therefore, accused the  firm of mobilising hoodlums  who attacked and once again forcefully took over the property after allegedly compromising the NBTE leadership at that time.”
The NBTE bosssaid that “When I assumed office in April 2021, I sought the approval of the Hon. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu to re-e force the subsisting court jugment, using all security at our disposal. We got approval,and, accordingly, notified DB Mangal Nig Ltd of our intention”.
He said the approval was carried out successfully on 11 Novemver, 2021. Federal Government property has now been recovered, rule of law upheld and the directives of the government order affirmed”.
NBTE  said it was seeking the understanding and cooperation of all Nigerians, “as we endure that the change mantra of Mr President(Muhammadu Buhari) is upheld by any legal means necessary; and the days of inpunity in Nigeria are over.”
