On the 4th September, 2025, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame declared open, the the 9th Aviation Africa Summit and Exhibition (AVAF25), scheduled for September 4-5, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Center in Kigali.
The exhibition platform afforded major aviation companies across the world to showcase their products and services.
With an extensive influence in operators in the Africa’s aviation landscape, the exhibition attracted numerous exhibitors and buyers from across the globe, ranging from the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Leveraging on that, foremost aviation company, Airline Management Support Limited (AMSL), used the occasion to display it’s quality aircraft tyres and aerospace fluid across range.
The aviation company presented itself at the exhibition with a brand-new appearance. Located in the center of the exhibition area, AMSL booth featured a distinctive design and a wide range of products on display, giving full expression to the international brand image of Dunlop aircraft tyres and attracting many new and existing customers to visit the booth for talks.
On the first day, no fewer than 100 visitors thronged the AMSL stand, who admired the range of tyres on display.
AMSL, however, showcased several Dunlop Tyre types at the exhibition, including the highly recommended high-performance aircraft tyres made by Dunlop including: H36x11. 5-15 (DR332227); 27x 7.75-15 (DR25821T); H30x9. 50-16 (DR32130T); 23×7.00-12 (DR14628T); H38x13. 0R18 (DZ33420T); 34×10.75-6 (DR0231T); 19.5×6.75-8 (DR30510T); 5.00-5 (DR5875); H38x13. 0-18 (DR31020T) ; H44. 5×16.5-21 (DR 29628T).
According to AMSL Sales Manager, Chris Okoroigwe, the tyres cut across those meant for Nose wheel and main wheel for Boeing, Embraer 145, CRJ and certain categories of helicopters.
A visit to AMSL stand in Kigali shows that, all the aircraft tyres exhibited by the company were all best-sellers in the Middle East, Americas, Europe, African markets and other regions. During the exhibition, Dunlop aircraft tyres took the centre stage, earning great reputation from new and existing customers for its excellent brand image and product quality.
Speaking at the AMSL Stand in Kigali, the Chief Executive Officer of AMSL, Capt David Olubadewo said the Summit is unique in the sense that it is a big one.
Capt Olubadewo who described the Summit as a success pointed out that, there were no hitches as recorded in other places in past, adding that coming to the Summit was easy enough.
He noted that, though, the Summit was a sucess, not many Nigerians attended the summit as expected.
Also speaking, General Manager of AMSL, Mrs Kemi Olubadewo confirmed the sucess of the summit, adding that AMSL came to break new frontiers.
She said “As the industry is growing, AMSL is also growing in terms of consumables like tyres, oil, etc needed for easy operations of the industry”.
“We are here in Kigali to create more awareness as well as sales. So far, the feedback has been encouraging”.
