The Public Relations Officers, Seme, Ports and Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) and Onne command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hussein Abdulahi, Yakubu Muhammed and Ifeoma Ojekwu have been decorated with the the rank of Superintendent of Customs (SC).
Last week, BUSINESSINSIDERNG, reported that the zone A public relations officer, Nkiru Nwala, and other senior officers in the zone with their new ranks.

Nwala, a former PRO, Apapa command has been decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC). Other PRO that get rank of Superintendent of Customs include, Jerry Attah of the Federal Operation Unit, Zone C, Owerri; Theophilus Duniya of Federal Operation Unit, Zone A; Usman Abubakar of Apapa command; Abdulahi Maiwada, former PRO, Ogun Command and the PRO, Ogun Command, Hammed Oloyede, among others.
However, Abdulahi was decorated with his new ranks last week by his Customs Area Controller (CAC), Bello Muhammed Jibo while Yakubu was decorated by Comptroller Festus Okun and Ojekwu by Compt. Auwal Muhammed at their various commands.
The Seme border PRO, Abdulahi, who hailed from Doma Local government of Nasarawa state had his early education at Government Doma Secondary school, Nasarawa state.
He has B. Tech in Building from prestigious Federal University of Technology, Minna and also a proficiency certificate in ICT from the same University.

The Newly Promoted Officers
He was enlisted into superintendent cadre of the Nigeria Customs Service in 2011, and rose to the rank of superintendent of Customs in 2020
He has worked in PTML, Cross River/ Akwa-Ibom, Ogun Area Command, Benue/ Plateau/Nasarawa. He equally worked briefly at ICT headquarters before he was transferred to Seme Area Command as Customs Public Relations Officer in 2019.
